Well folks it's that time of the year once again, where schedules are released for every NFL Team, and once again, The Dallas Cowboys have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL. Whether you like the Cowboys or you hate them, join me as I try to predict what the Cowboys record will be at the end of the season. Yes, I am a Cowboys fan, and Yes, I do believe they'll go to the Super Bowl every year, but I'll try my hardest to give you the unbiased record for the 2022-2023 Season.
OVERALL RECORD ( 11-6, NFC EAST CHAMPS)
To kick the season off once again, the Cowboys will face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but this time it is in Jerry World. This is one of the games I had as a toss up which could change their record from 11-6 to 12-5 because it has the potential to be the Cowboys revenge game from last season. The Cowboys had a great season at home last year and I don't see things changing this season as they thrive off the fans in the building and use the crowd to keep them going in these games. The Tampa Bay Game will be just as exciting as last year and should be a good one to watch. Now going into week 2, the Cowboys take on last years AFC Champions, the Cincinnati Bengals, at home once again. If the Cowboys don't manage to pull of an upset win against the Buccaneers I could see them starting off 0-2 to begin the season but in the next 2 weeks following against the Giants and Washington, they should have a record of 2-2 by week five.
When week 5 rolls around, the Cowboys will travel to SoFi Stadium, and take on the defending Super Bowl Champs, the Los Angeles Rams. Seeing as too how good the Rams were last year, and how they haven't lost too many pieces from their championship team, this is where the Cowboys will receive their third loss.
After week 5, the Cowboys should have some good luck as they take on the Eagles, Lions and Bears for weeks 6, 7 and 8. These should be 3 easy wins for the Cowboys and get them rolling before they travel to Green Bay to take on Aaron Rodgers, and the Packers. As usual, this is going to be another L on our record, and I would be highly surprised if they actually managed to travel into Lambeau Field and walk away with a win. After week 9 against the Packers, the Cowboys should be able to get rolling again and get on another win streak as they take on the Vikings, Giants, Colts, Texans, and Jaguars. This should be 5 more wins added on to their record, with the Colts and Vikings having the best opportunity to mess up my prediction of the 11-6 record.
To end the season the Cowboys will face the Eagles, Titans and Washington, in their last 3 games. I usual have the Cowboys splitting with one NFC East Team and depending on how the Eagles are able to go about their season next year, the Cowboys have the potential to split with the Eagles as well. This is another game I have as a toss up, that can change the overall outcome of their record. When it comes to Tennessee and Washington, I have the Cowboys losing to the Titans in Nashville and then winning their last game against Washington. If all goes well, with the schedule they have, the Cowboys should be NFC East Champions once again, with Philly coming in right behind them and the NFC East will have the same teams repenting the division in the playoffs.
While there are a lot of things that can shake up what happens during the season, the Cowboys potential floor to me is 9 wins and their ceiling is 13 wins. The Cowboys may surprise a lot of people or pull a typical mediocre season, but as of now in the way too early predictions, I have the Dallas Cowboys with a record of 11-6.
